The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
